Michael Semanchik, Media Coordinator for the California Innocence Project, will discuss his organization's online growth through its frequently updated website and social media campaigns. Liza Dietrich will provide tips for developing an organization's social media presence from square-one based on her experience managing social media for The Ohio Innocence Project. Ms. Dietrich will be joined by Sarah Spangenburg, founding member of John Carroll University's Chapter of OIP-u, in discussing and the benefits of creating university-based advocate groups designed to promote wrongful conviction awareness on college campuses.
