Dave Moran is a clinical professor of law at the University of Michigan Law School. Having co-founded the Michigan Innocence Clinic in 2009 to focus on non-DNA cases, Dave has overseen several complex innocence cases involving scientific evidence other than DNA. A specialist in criminal procedure and evidence, Dave also has a graduate degree in theoretical physics, along with more than two decades of appellate litigation experience (including several arguments before the U.S. Supreme Court). Under his leadership, the Michigan Innocence Clinic has exonerated of several defendants who had been convicted on the basis of science that has since come to be discredited.
