Dawn Boswell received her J.D. at Baylor Law School in 1993. After a brief time as a criminal defense attorney in Tarrant County, Dawn took a position as prosecutor in the appellate division of the Denton County District Attorney's Office. During her tenure with the Denton DA's office she was assigned to the appellate, trial, intake and grand jury divisions. For 17 years Dawn has concentrated exclusively on criminal defense, at both the trial and appellate levels, and only recently returned to the prosecution side as the director of Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney's Office's newly-created Conviction Integrity Unit. Dawn has been named a "Texas Super Lawyer" and acted as a speaker at both legal community and law enforcement trainings on various topics including cell phone location evidence, cross examination of cell phone experts, wrongful convictions, and Conviction Integrity Units.
