Josh Tepfer joined the Exoneration Project in May 2015 and became a Lecturer with the University of Chicago Law School. Prior to that, he worked at Northwestern Law School's Center on Wrongful Convictions of Youth for seven years, where he was also an Assistant Clinical Professor. Josh has been representing the criminally accused and convicted for the entirety of his twelve-year legal career. As either direct or amicus counsel, he has participated in helping to exonerate more than a dozen wrongfully convicted individuals. He has also published a variety of articles on issues pertaining to criminal justice and wrongful convictions.
