Oleksandr Zadorozhnii is a Professor of International Law and the head of the International Law Department and Institute of International Relations at the National Taras Shevchenko University of Kyiv. He is a member of the International Bar Association, the European Society of International Law and the American Society of International Law. Oleksandr is the author of over 250 publications on the International Law and Constitutional Law, including six individual monographic books and four text-books. Oleksandr advised the Prime Minister of Ukraine as he prepared draft legislation and regulations, and took part in the preparation of the draft program of the government on legal policy and international treaties. As the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Oleksandr represented more than 200 presidential and government bills. He personally developed and introduced 54 bills: on the rights of minorities and the rights of voters.
